Cyber Intelligence is a multidisciplinary research area focused on the systematic collection, analysis, and correlation of information to prevent, detect, and mitigate complex and evolving threats affecting digital systems, organizations, and society. In the context of hybrid and multidimensional threats, Cyber Intelligence adopts an integrated, cross-domain perspective.
Cyber: detection, analysis, and mitigation of cyber attacks through monitoring, threat intelligence, and adversarial behavior analysis.
Physical: protection of critical infrastructures, industrial facilities, and operational environments exposed to combined cyber–physical threats and cascading effects.
Information: identification and countering of disinformation, misinformation, and influence operations through content and propagation analysis.
Cognitive: assessment and management of societal perception, trust, and decision-making processes impacted by coordinated hybrid actions across multiple domains.
